Elaria

My name is Elaria and I am based in Sydney, Australia. I am the first-born of three children (triplets!) to Lebanese immigrant parents. I have had paraplegia since birth, and I received my first ever wheelchair at the age of 6. Modelling has been the perfect creative outlet in my life that has enabled me to achieve so much as a disabled individual - beyond anything I could have imagined. It has helped blossom and strengthen my confidence and self-love as it allows me to be a force in the movement towards an inclusive industry.

Outside of modelling, I studied part-time for 5 years to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies whilst owning my own business as a BIAB manicurist and working as a Skin Specialist in retail cosmetics. I enjoy watching anything sports related (especially the NFL and NHL) and I used to dream about being a Paralympian! I also love to curate my own personal fine jewellery collection (diamonds really are my best friend).

My Lebanese heritage has instilled in me values I hold close to my heart to this day, especially my Christian faith, being family-oriented, and always showing the utmost respect and love towards everyone.
